The SC40TX stump cutter comes with a stand-on platform, making it the first stump grinder on the market with that feature. The platform helps give the SC40TX superior speed, maneuverability and operator comfort compared with traditional self-propelled machines.
Other features include:
- A 40-horsepower (29.8 kW) Kohler diesel engine.
- A 36-inch (91.4 cm) width, allowing the SC40TX to fit through standard gates.
- A counter-rotating track undercarriage that makes it easier to reposition when cutting a stump.
- Two dedicated positions from which to operate the stump grinder — one on the side of the machine and the other on the platform on the back of the machine, which is ideal when space is tight.
