How to get the most out of your TCI EXPO experience

It just keeps getting better! The world’s largest tree care show and conference, that is.

The TCI EXPO is just around the corner, and it’s packed with informative education sessions, great networking opportunities and innovative equipment and tools to help enhance your skills and grow your business. With so much to see, we met with the show manager to get some tips on how to get the most out of the conference and trade show.

Call out: The TCI EXPO will be held November 12 to 14, 2015 in Pittsburgh.

First: Get registered — This is THE premier industry trade show. So book your hotel rooms and register as soon as possible. Early registration ends on November 9.

First time attending? — Don’t worry. Just check out these tips to help you get the most out of the conference and trade show.

Map your schedule — With more than 77 hours of education sessions and 200 exhibitors, you may need help mapping your schedule. Check out this great interactive schedule tool from TCIA to help you plan your conference schedule.

Legendary reception — Be sure to attend the welcome reception sponsored by Vermeer on Thursday, November 12, at 6 p.m. Trust me; you don’t want to miss this one!

Get some credit — Continuing education units (CEU) that is! TCIA submits its program to various industry organizations for CEU approval before the show. Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) CEUs are available for all safety seminars.

Tree demonstration — Choose from 10 FREE tree demonstrations facilitated by North American Training Solutions ranging from chain saw safety and rigging to fall protection systems and climbing techniques. Plus, you can earn CEUs for these demonstrations.

Trade show — More than 200 companies will participate in the TCI EXPO trade show. It’s a great opportunity to see the latest innovations in the tree care industry. Make sure to stop by the Vermeer exhibit (booth #747) to see our stump grinders and learn more from other tree care professionals.
