Learn 'From Those Who Know' at TCI EXPO 2015

Visit Vermeer at booth #747 at TCI EXPO

Networking and learning from others in the tree care industry is what TCI EXPO is all about. Our goal is to help tree care contractors continue to learn valuable lessons from their peers throughout the year. You may have noticed some Tree Views blogs with a special From Those Who Know badge, and we’ll be sharing more contractor stories throughout 2016.

We’ll feature your fellow tree care contractors on the blog and in various print advertisements. We’ll ask these Vermeer customers to tell us about the challenges they face every day and how they overcome them to improve their company’s productivity.

Vermeer S725TX compact utility loader

Stop by the Vermeer booth #747 at TCI EXPO to learn about the equipment your fellow From Those Who Know tree care contractors use in the field. You can also be part of the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #VermeerFTWK.

In addition, we’re rolling out our #NewSteelinSteelCity. The exciting additions to our product line include: the S725TX compact utility loader, FT100 forestry tractor and SC552 and SC852 high-horsepower stump cutters.

The versatile S725TX compact utility loader can accommodate a wide range of attachments, enabling landscape contractors to handle irrigation systems and hardscape projects, tree care removal and fiberoptic installations. Its compact size and choice of track width makes the S725TX ideal for landscape professionals who need the ability to maneuver through gates and other tight spaces.

The Vermeer FT100 forestry tractor with above-ground mulcher attachment gives contractors a powerful, compact option to clear land for commercial and residential development projects, thin forests in urban areas to control invasive species and manage timber to aid in the creation of recreational trails. The FT100 can fell a tree and turn brush to mulch, providing an efficient solution for contractors.

With the launch of the Vermeer SC552 and SC852 stump cutters, Vermeer is pleased to offer a versatile line of tree stump removal solutions for the tree care market. Now, contractors can choose from a range of Vermeer stump cutters — 25 to 74 hp (18.6 to 55.2 kW) — based on their individual price points, productivity needs and business models.

The SC552 and SC852 are designed to meet the market’s needs for high horsepower stump cutters to help remove mature tree stumps and complete high volume stump removal jobs. The sister machines both feature operator presence safety features, and the Vermeer SmartSweep™ control system, which monitors engine load and provides continuous feedback to automatically adjust the cutter wheel speed.
