S725TX compact utility loader catches editor’s eye

Vermeer environmental equipment and service is top notch, and industry influencers are starting to take notice. The S725TX compact utility loader has earned an Editor’s Choice Award from Rental magazine. This comes on the heels of the FT300 forestry tractor with a mulching head winning the Contractors’ Top 50 Award from Equipment Today last month.

Rental Editor's Choice Award for Vermeer S725TX compact utility loader

Products were chosen by the Rental magazine editorial staff based on their innovation, relevance to the industry and the number of visitors who engaged with S725TX content posted on ForConstructionPros.com/Rental over a 12-month period.

The S725TX empowers tree care contractors to move heavy materials more efficiently. Because the compact utility loader can be used to load large branches into a brush chipper or stack oversized logs into a truck or trailer, it can help reduce the amount of physical labor required from the crew and free up workers to tackle other jobsite activities.

The S725TX radial lift compact utility loader has a 750-pound (340.2 kg) SAE-rated operating capacity and a 2,145-pound (973 kg) tipping capacity. It has a hinge pin lift height of 84.5 inches (214.6 cm), and is powered by a 24.8-horsepower (18.2 kW) Kubota V1505-E4B Tier 4 Final diesel engine.

Like other models in the Vermeer compact utility loader lineup, the S725TX features a chariot-style, ride-on platform. The enhanced operator’s station features a single, pilot-operated joystick for smoother operation. The spring-cushioned platform keeps operators out of the mud and debris and provides additional support when working in rough terrain. The platform gives operators a good vantage point for viewing attachments during operation. The operator presence system is integrated into the platform, in which the ground drive and attachment motion is suspended if the operator steps off the machine.
