Three tips for UCT

Vermeer is heading to Atlanta on February 3 and 4, 2016 for the Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition (UCT). UCT is the premier event in the United States focusing on the total underground utility pipe infrastructure. Individuals representing water, sewer, gas, telecom and electric rely on UCT to learn about the latest techniques used in trenchless, open cut, new construction and pipe rehabilitation.

With so much to see, we wanted to provide some tips on how to get the most out of the conference and trade show.

First: Get registered — This is a premier industry trade show. So book your hotel rooms and register as soon as possible. Early registration ends on January 14.

Get some credit — Continuing education units (CEU) that is! UCT offers 90 information-packed sessions, this dynamic educational program will help you understand the new technologies and products being offered in the industry today. In addition, the UCT education program qualifies for CEUs and Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Credit is granted by the University of Texas at Arlington.

Trade show — Nearly 200 exhibitors will be on-hand to showcase new equipment and technologies used to maintain and upgrade the underground utility infrastructure. Make sure to stop by the Vermeer exhibit (booth #501) to learn more about our InSite™ Productivity Tools and see the D23x30 S3 Navigator® horizontal directional drill.
